Would you like a few pointers to help overcome the probability of putting off the goal you really would like to accomplish? If so, read a little further and let’s see if a short bit of encouragement can point you to the place of more easily finding fulfillment of your dreams and goal.
- Think about the goal you want to set for yourself – not
for someone else. - Write the goal down as soon as you visualize it. Writing
the goal on paper for posting on a wall or desk where you
may review it daily is very important. - As you develop and write your goal, make room for changes
and put it on a type paper that can be easily updated as
needed. This just means you will need to be ready to
revise and change the written procedures as you move
forward with the implementation of your goal. Change
is inevitable a necessity of life. - You have your goal on paper that you can visualize and
now you must begin the necessary steps toward goal
accomplishment. - Be sure to write down the date you want the goal to be
completed! Also write down the time and day of the week
you will start working toward the goal! - Good, now when you begin the task you have outlined for
yourself, reflect. Do you see any stumbling blocks? If
you do, now is the perfect time to review and reword
again your action plan in a more realistic, workable
fashion. As you find the problems in implementation,
just adjust your action plans to a more doable
application. This will help relieve discouragement
and keep you on track. - Don’t say to yourself, this won’t work and put aside your
goal and quit. Don’t get discouraged as many people do
and just lay aside your planned goal until a later time.
Keep to the task and eliminate excuses such as, I’m just
too busy or just too lazy to continue. - This is the time to take positive action and review,
renew, and recharge your determination and effort.
